Residential Battery Storage Program: Property Owner's Notice and Release

Please select your language to translate this form.

Your tenant or occupant at the address above (hereafter referred to as “Applicant”), would like to participate in SFPUC’s Residential Battery Storage Program (Program). As the legal property owner for the site of the proposed battery energy storage system (BESS) installation, you will need to provide your agreement below for your tenant or occupant to participate in the Program.

The Program provides eligible CleanPowerSF customers an incentive payment to help reduce the cost of a BESS installed with new or existing qualifying solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

The SFPUC is only providing an incentive payment for eligible project costs and not involved in any of the procurement, installation, commissioning, or operation of the BESS. That work is performed by independent contractors and providers that are selected by and contracted with the Applicant, not the SFPUC.

I hereby certify that I am the legal owner of the property address above for the proposed BESS installation, and by signing below, I acknowledge and agree that:

  1. I am aware that the Applicant is participating in the Residential Battery Storage Program, and I do not object to their participation. I understand that the Applicant’s participation is subject to the Program’s terms, conditions, and rules, which may be amended by SFPUC, and I do not object to the Applicant’s continued participation if such amendments occur.

  5. The SFPUC is not responsible or liable for any work performed, or actions of, the Applicant or any supplier, vendor, contractor, or provider related to the BESS, including any damage to real or personal property that may result from participation in the Program.
